Raw run: Manual in the mountains

1 subscriber = 1 centimeter of manual. This is a tradition on my channel, and I do this every 10k subs. Since we hit 70k subs, this was a 700m (0.45 mile) manual. There's a playlist of the other manuals on my channel. In a week or so, I'm going to be publishing this same video, but with a voiceover talking about the behind the scenes, and what's next on the channel. Some other notes: ► If I eve...
How SMALL can you ollie?

Small wins in this challenge. What do you think the smallest ollie possible is? I think the width of your wheelbase, plus one inch, is the absolute best you can do. My record from the day is the length of a board. I just came across your channel. I love the way you get straight to the point to give us clear and concise information. It feels like it’s coming from the heart. So thanks Jason for helping us all on our skate journey.
Glad to hear you over come that obstacle… in every aspect of your life don’t take things so seriously… fall over and embrace it… I still care what people think… I wish I didn’t give two shits… my major set back is I’m to nice to people… hope you don’t have this problem also.
Just got my first board yesterday and there’s spitfire wheels and real board
If you don't wear a helmet when doing any type of trick, you're just asking for a TBI. Wear a helmet.
awesome dude
nice
im convinced jason is secretly handler ( a popular fps youtuber )
this is basically flawless. Most experienced skaters in the parks I visit would say stuff like "become one with board" or "become one with the flow" but what they really mean is basically what's said in this vid. This is so simple yet so practical, cheers for that!
Never cut towards yourself, brah!
I do like... a revert. People love the sound it makes. Lol
No would never lie, i actually broke my ankle trying a 720 late heelflip to kickflip in the vert last week
I love pulling this one out in a game of S.K.A.T.E
I also have 3 I have a skateboard, longboard and a cruiserboard
its still so hard
😂 👏
That man in the Back
Got two… and my sets up are falling off all the time…
I’m not your circus monkey. Just because I’m skatin it isn’t an excuse to talk to me, especially when I’m clearly filming.
I've just started skating recently! And yeah all I've been doing is skating where i can be not seen, parking garages are nice. Went to a skatepark for the first time last night and it was bustling, so i left. I hate myself for it but its all good
2 decades ago i skated the board switched up, always though the wide side was the tail
Wtf did I just watch
Great motivation 🎉
Skip the second step and all the rest. Just file down the tape till it comes off. Stop wasting time on nonsense
He said he only skates at night and the clip he shown is in pure daylight lol
I prefer to start by wrapping my entire body in grip tape
I do a kick flip and then I ask them to do a kick flip
Use a grip roller or sometimes i use a 4" 🎨 roller, lay down the grip flat in the sun to get out any wrinkles while you get everything ready. I usually pull back half the grip @time and start kinda in the middle and roll out
i cringe at skaters cutting griptape, you guys always cut dangerously close to your body
I love doing shitty grip jobs just because it pisses my friends off so much. And to all the people saying don’t cut towards yourself, as long as you aren’t a moron it’s fine lmao
When cutting.... "towards your buddy not your body!"
don’t cut towards yourself!!
You missed an important part. That’s making sure the blade isn’t dulled out. If it’s dull even with everything else correct, you’ll end up with very choppy cutout.
I used a used blade and finally said F it and put a new blade on. I find the hole process easier if you lay your grip flat in the sun while you get roller & knife
This was my favorite part of building my first deck when i was 15. Best feeling ever looking down and seeing something i put together myself
Shop at your local skate shop.
I don’t have one
Never cut towards yourself blade 101 😅

Great tutorial !
I gave up on skating a long time ago because I couldn't Ollie. I just started again after about 20 years, and I landed my first Ollie about 8 hours ago. I felt like I was in high school again. Apparently, I had my toes too far over the edge of the board, and it always went behind me. I just needed to scoot back a little. God bless UA-cam.
I yell back gimmi 5 bucks
3 skate decks 1 vert 1 street 1 pump track 5 long boards downhill, ldp, brake, pump track, dingy and 2 electrics short and long I still want more😂🤙
Too many
I do a heel flip when people say “do a kick flip” they can’t tell the difference 😂😂
I can't even on ollie on pavement let alone dare to
I was playing on my dad’s old Xbox one finding something fun to play. Then I saw a game tucked in the corner of the game library, “skate 3” I booted up the game to see what it was about and instantaneously fell in love with skateboarding. I ran to my garage to find an old Walmart board almost broken. I found a skatepark nearby and started to just ride around to old wooden park. That park is where I learned to drop in, kick turn, and Ollie. Then it got remodeled into a huge concrete park which I still go to today. Thanks EA, and where my skate 4?
Sadly I learned to skate on the east coast I didn’t know many kids who skated. Unless I got my friend to try out skating no one in my age group skated with me
Steps: Sand down edges. Peel up edge to expose sanded part. Cut. Then sand down the cut edges. Subscribe for more skate tutorials! #shorts #skatebasics #skateboarding
Aren’t you supposed to cut away from yourself in case you cut too far or something
Cutting away from yourself probably does reduce the chance of getting hurt if you're putting a lot of force into the cut, and your blade slips. (Ideally, sanding the edge will make it so you don't have to put much force into the cut). But yes, cut away from yourself if you feel safer that way, and for the younger skaters out there, ask a friend/family to help if needed
